H2O Church is back (in the Anderson Room) and rested and we hope you all had a great Christmas break as well. We're kicking off the winter semester with an H2O tradition - skiing, snowboarding, and have a great weeking of fellowship up in Traverse City over the MLK holiday weekend. This event is open to anyone, so bring your friends. And we'll be back Sunday afternoon to give you plenty of time to get your coursework done for Tuesday!

WHEN: Friday, January 15th - Sunday, Jan 17th
WHERE: Timber Lodge Estate: ~20 minutes from downtown Traverse City. We will be staying in a wing of the glorious 7,000 sq ft estate. Complete with fireplace, kitchen, library, den with jukebox, and basement with big-screen TV.
COST: $25 (including lodging, gift for host, 3 meals and snacks)
WHAT: Friday - arrive, eat snacks, play mafia or other games
Saturday - skiiers and snowboarders will depart in the morning for Crystal Mountain. The rest of us can sleep in, hang out and go on an excursion about town. When the skiiers return we will have dinner together followed by games and other shenanigans to be sure.
Sunday - a big breakfast followed by a mini-service and worship time. Then we clean-up and head home arriving back in mid-afternoon.
RSVP: If you haven't already signed-up you can still come! We will be carpooling up on Friday and we just need to know if you are coming! Please let us know ASAP by contacting Abby Wheeler (aewheel at umich dot edu).
Hope to see you there! If the past is any guide, it's sure to be loads of fun!
